Preventive Maintenance

We offer comprehensive PM  service for microtomes and cryostats. 

Microtome PM includes a thorough PM and calibration of the unit.  This includes cleaning and replacing the old lubricants with fresh lubricant. We inspect all critical parts and replace any parts showing excessive wear or signs of possible failure.

Cryostat PM includes a thorough PM for the microtome and cabinet including cleaning and disinfection of the unit.   We inspect all critical parts and replace any parts showing excessive wear or signs of possible failure.

Repair

When repairs are necessary we trouble shoot the unit to pin point the cause of the malfunction and then make repair.  We are careful to replace only necessary parts and to minimize labor and travel charges.  When major repairs are necessary we may move the unit to our shop to minimize disruption of your work place. 

Service Agreements

We offer two service agreements for your instruments.  The Labor Service Agreement provides all labor and travel for service for one year.  The Full Service Agreement provides all labor, travel and parts for one year.

Documentation

Once service is completed we will send you complete documentation of the service provided for your records.
